How are your holidays going on?
Enjoying your holidays? Stressed out on workloads?
No worries and no fuss, cus Xmas holidays are finally here~
Man, IDK what was I doing. This what Sabahans call "minta puji". (Fishing for attention)
Blehh... Cut off the crap. Just assume that I'm appreciating the mini Frosty right there.
Anyways, the point of posting that picture is to make you picture a picture of Xmas in one picture!
Heck yes! Quad combo! High 5!!
And FYI, it's 11pm now (Malaysia time zone).
Here I am, sipping my cup of hot tea...
Eyes glued on my iPad and my fingers are busy tapping on it. And of course, once in awhile, yc (yingchow)** my nephews.
Glossary: yingchow - reacted randomly without any intention.
I learnt my lesson. NEVER update my blog on my phone.
It's been awhile since I last updated my blog (mehh, it's only been a week)
I'm keeping up the track of updating an entry per week. To be honest, I really appreciate your feedbacks about my blog. Feel free to drop me a comment~ :D
As usual, my posts will be loaded with much exaggeration and analogies*.
*to avoid controversies
Have fun reading and visualizing!! :)
Today's entry will be a reallyyyyyyyyyy longggggggggg postttttttt.. So, I'll be posting it in 2 parts. :)
-Before I start off my sharing, let us have a moment of silence and prayer for the victims of the horrendous flash flood in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
Moving on,
Recognize this? Yup. It's the current Fb trend.. The Year in Review thingy.
I've seen countless reviews of my fellow Fb friends and in fact, I viewed my own Year in Review as well.. But mehh.. Mine wasn't that pleasing. T_________________T
Maybe I'm just poop outta luck. My review is like porridge without salt. Meanwhile, my other friends' reviews on Fb are really interesting with an adequate amount of seasoning and flavour.
Hmm, not sure if I'm too fussy or what...
(I'm very picky on this. Sorry, Fb team, you guys did a good job on this new feature. But TBH, the themes are kinda bland and the pictures that you've chosen for me are kinda lame)
[People gonna make a long ass beeline to kick my bum on this :P]
So, here you go! Imma make my long ass Two Zero One Four review~
(2014 hasn't officially ended. Well, I can't help seeing other people posting their reviews while I just cry in the corner viewing their interesting reviews) :'D
****As a lazy person like me, I never really write a journal or a diary. But I do "record" the important moments in pictures. [hah! Don't judge me! I know you do this too!]
Let's kick off with January~
Hmm, Idk where to start.
Yeah! It's January!! New Year, New Resolution! Mehh
While all social network posts are filled netizens' "new year resolutions", there's me..
Scrolling up and down, pondering upon so many things...
January was pretty boring month for me.
I was still pursuing my Form 6 education. So, everything was like a continuation of 2013.
Here's what Fb recommended me :
So, they've combine both January and February.
Top: Taken on January. These are my Form 6 friends. That's a pretty good photo! These people are precious! My form 6 life is so much more interesting with their existence. :')
Bottom left and right: Photos taken with my friends during Chinese New Year, which was sometime around February. Haha! Fb can be so random in choosing the photos.
So, I had a very clichΓ© school schedule in January, as you can tell. :/
Moving onto February!
Heck yes! February was awesome! It's the month of celebrations and reunions!
CNY was a blast. Had some really great time with my families and friends.
Here is what Fb recommended me:
Fb has really unique taste! These pictures are all the happenings on the first day of CNY. As you can see, they are all taken in one go. :P
I see what you did there, Fb!
Let me further elaborate my February.
-It was my first time wearing the traditional Chinese "qipao" or better known as cheongsam. :)
(Photos above)
-Had great time with my high school friends.. All the chit chats, drinking and games...
Yup. I extracted this photo from my Instagrrrrr... My phone is going bonker with all the photos. That's why I transferred them to somewhere..
Gosh, I miss them so so much! Although some of us are thousands of miles apart, we still get to communicate with each other via online. "So close, yet so far"!!! **sniff sniff**
Now who says that modern technology is detrimental to youth?
*Wipes tears*
Moving on to March, April and May!
[Things get a little emotional here. Continue reading or flee. You choose! ]
Back to my normal schedule, where school was my main priority. I had tuition classes on weekdays and weekends. Subsequently, I couldn't really go for shooting. How sad is life without archery. T.T
Term 2 was way more busy than Term 1.
I spent most of my afternoons snoozing.
And yeah. That's the most I can recall for what I did in March.
April was more or less the same but with a little Zing~
-Had my 19th birthday.
It was a Wednesday, where I had Biology and Math test. That was the best bday gift ever! :'D
(It was a week of hell.. So many tests in one week....)
I was so touched when my classmates sang me a birthday song out of the blue. The whole class were like zombies that day and they still did it. I blushed for awhile and I can't deny it. :P
I also went out with some dearly friends in the afternoon to celebrate my bday. Hah! Had a great time with them.
Overall, I'm really grateful for all who wished me. Thank youuuu! Whoa..
Sometimes I kinda hate birthdays. Reminds me of how old am I and how heavy are my shoulders to carry all the responsibilities. Man, how I wish I can be 18 forever... As the Chinese saying goes...
"18ε²bokbokθ"
-Applied for IPG while I was still in Form 6.
Things get a little emotional and controversial here. I shall post it in my next entry. :/
.
.
.
May was a like a roller coaster ride!
>May was a busy busy busy month! With my Term 2 STPM exam coming ahead, it's no surprise I was flooded with tests every single week. No I'm not exaggerating here. I had tests every single week. -.-
>I've gone through the different phases of getting into IPG.
Pertaining to the mehh physical test and interview..
>Sat for my Term 2 STPM
>Got a fugly random mole on my lower lip. Idk how it got pigmentation over there.
So that was March, April and May in a nutshell. :/
Still here?
Well, life is not always that interesting if you don't do anything to change it.
If I were to represent my first half of the year in a graph form, it would be in an increasing motion from Jan to Feb, major downfall on March and it reaches a plateau for the rest of the months... :/
No wonder Fb didn't recommend anything related these 3 months.
Phewwww! I gotta admit that I got a little emotional while updating the first half of the year.
Hah! This is random.
Oh well, the following months are much more colourful~
Let's begin with June!
It's the month of transformation! The graph suddenly rose to a few degrees as I finally got out of my misery.
As some of you may have known, I changed my education environment.
I hesitated a little at first, wondering if my decision was right.
The new study environment was really different from the previous one. And the biggest difference was that I had to leave my hometown...
Was so heavy hearted to leave all my precious things and people behind..
My family and friends~
(My bed, water heater, washing machine, kitchen utensils, the fridge, my car) T____T
But there's a silver lining beneath all these.
I've learnt a lot about self management after leaving home. :)
And I got to know many people of different walks of life.
Apparently, I'm the oldest in my class(by legit date of birth) (Woohoo! Taikajie!)
And no, that didn't made me the black sheep of the class.
In fact, all the sheeps work very well together to avoid from being caught by wolves.
So, June is the month of transformation while July is the month of adaptation~
There you have it. Adaptation is the perfect word to describe July. :)
~Life is always full of different flavours.
It depends on how you season it with different seasonings and spices to make it flavourful.
How boring can life be if it's only filled with sweetness. A little bit or tartness and bittersweetness is wayyyyyyyyy better.
More to come in the next entry~
